IFM/PM Services

Belco provides Investment Fund Manager (IFM) and Portfolio Manager (PM) services to:

• Canadian asset managers, businesses, individuals and family offices wishing to manage and distribute portfolios comprised primarily of publicly traded securities. Furthermore, if you are looking to develop the proficiency necessary to become registered as a portfolio manager, we will develop a program to facilitate this process.
• Belco also provides “contractual IFM services“ to private equity and private debt managers whose vehicles may not be an “investment fund” as defined by Canadian securities laws, but who require an IFM to assist with the oversight and management of its pooled fund, or if investors or an approval committee require an offering to have an arm’s length IFM to access their investor base.
• International advisers and dealers wishing to offer a Canadian feeder fund or one-off distribution for their international offerings.
